A.   Reread Plessy v. Ferguson: Key Excerpts from the Court’s Decision and highlight unknown words. Define each word in the organizer on the last page of the handout.
B.  Read a good book. 
C.  Based on Chapters 1-3, update your "Journey to Justice" Notecatcher--add in info, quote, and page #s for steps Carlota took.  Use what we did so far as a model.
D.  Choose one of the things you might like to learn more about and research/figure out how you might learn more about it.  What resources are out there? Are there apps that could help? Books? Websites? People? Organizations? Take some notes on paper or on a Google Doc as you do this.  Have this assignment finished by Friday.
