     I can understand different mediums and their advantages and disadvantages.
     I can use evidence from Dr. King’s Montgomery Bus Boycott speech to support my understanding of the text and build background knowledge of the civil rights movement.

Homework
A. Read Chapters 1–2, pages 4-27 in Little Rock Girl 1957 and complete the structured notes in your Unit 2, Lesson 3 Packet.
B.  Finish reading Dr. King’s Montgomery Bus Boycott speech and complete gist notes on your Unit 2, Lesson 4 Packet.
C.  Work on your Genius Hour project--even if it's only for 5 minutes.  Log what you learned.
